Andriy Shevchenko is a former Head of Mission in Ukraine for the Ukrainian World Congress, Deputy Minister of Defence for European integration (2023), Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada and ICAO (2015–2021), and Member of Parliament (2006–2014). Before his political career, he was a prominent journalist and co-founder of 5th Channel, Ukraine’s first 24/7 news channel. For his contributions during the Orange Revolution, he was honoured with the Press Freedom Award by Reporters Without Borders (Vienna, 2005).
Andriy is the Managing Director of Helsing in Ukraine, a European defence technology and artificial intelligence company.
